Situated in the heart of Somerset and home to some of the best fishing in the South West, including the famous River Huntspill and King Sedgemoor Drain.
We have an abundance of diverse waters to choose from including Combwich Ponds to the Bridgwater & Taunton Canal.
Notes from BAA Committee Meeting - 17 October 2017
Agreed to hedge trimming at Combwich and Dunwear. Hedges and trees at the back of Dunwear North pond need cutting back, the pathway is very narrow.
Negotiations with Somerset County Council over the sale of Dunwear Ponds are on-going.
Fencing to be put up around swims in Railway Pond at Dunwear to close the water off.
Signs up on the Railway pond warning no fishing until further notice.
Urgent Notice: Dunwear Ponds - Railway Pond
There is a Water Primrose problem and until further notice anglers should not fish this pond. We are working with all relevant organisations to find a suitable course of action to eradicate this species of plant.
You can now join us at Bridgwater Angling by purchasing your new permit from any of our many outlets.
We have also introduced a £5.00 day ticket for those that want to occasionally dip their maggots in the water!
