Steve Tucker took 66lbs 6oz of bream from peg 105 fishing the tip with worm and maggot he had 15 bream.Ian Wheeldon took several bream and skimmers at the other end of the river on peg 10 for 20lbs .Third was Eddy Wynne with 17lbs 8oz made up of 25 skimmers and odd ells.River was high and the wind strong hense few fish cought on the pole.

Match of two halves Woolavington Bridge up water was coloured and bream showed .Gold Corner water was clear and produced mainly roach.Top weight was taken by Paul Purches who cought 26lbs of 4 bream and one tench second was B.Dukes with 4 bream for 19lbs 6oz and trhird place went to Garry Etheridge with all roach on waggler at Gold Corner in the clear water.

Top weight taken by me 13lbs 8oz of roach rudd and small skimmers all to bread punch at 4 meters to hand nice days fishing.The canal was frozen over at the start and the ice had to be broken befor starting even so we still managed to catch 88lbs of fish between us.Agood day had by all every body takeing home some prizes.Top in each section had a turkey each and every one else had wine spirits and chocolates.

The raffle took £85.00 going to the R.N.L.I.

On a hard and very clear river Tim Rowe managed to catch 10 bream averaging 3lbs each to amass a total of 32lbs 7 oz fishing hard to the north bank on worm and magget feeder from peg 79 near Woolavington Bridge. I.Pauley was the only one to find any large bream on the day .Most anglers cought small skimmers ells and small roach plus perch.Fish were taken on the tip and close in on the pole at 9 meters and at 11 meters.Skimmers were takeing choped worm through the feeder and small roach were takeing maggot on the pole.
